I would like to buy an ETF for my son's RESP. As I already have moneygeek regular portfolios for both our RRSP, I would like to diversify from that strategy a bit.

I'm looking for 1 or 2 etf that I could just add/hold for as long as I can (20 years).

I don't mind for volatility/risk...Any suggestions?

Hi BarbRiche,

Unfortunately, regulation prevents me from recommending an ETF based on your specific personal situation. That said, if I were in your shoes, I'd probably just buy a broad stock market ETF such as the Vanguard Total World Stock ETF (Ticker: VT). As an aside, I'm working on a solution that will allow members to ask about their specific personal situations.

Happy thanksgiving,
