When Barclays Shiller CAPE ETN was a suggested buy, I bought but never sold when it was suggested to move to QVAL/IVAL. Over time I am up 75.9% and still loving it.

Are there any Canadian equivalents of CAPE?

Hi Wightly,

If you're looking for a similar US stocks ETF that's listed in Canada, you can check out the BMO Shiller Select US Index ETF (Ticker: ZEUS.TO). ZEUS's methodology is a little different from CAPE's in that whereas CAPE selects undervalued industries, ZEUS selects undervalued stocks.

On the other hand, if you're looking for an ETF that invests in Canadian stocks, I'm not aware of anything that's similar enough to CAPE. There are lots of value investing oriented ETFs out there, but each ETF follows a different strategy.
